"Systembiologische Analyse von Fremdstoffabbau und Dedifferenzierungsprozessen in Hepatocyten"

Systems biology is an innovative and interdisciplinary field of research, with the goal to comprehend and produce a complete model of cells or organs including all complex and dynamical workflows (e.g. environmental adaptation, aging or immune defense). Researchers of different disciplines will work together to simulate virtually a complete biological system, the first step is the model system liver cell (hepatocyte). Aim is a virtuell cell to follow physiological processes in silico, a vitreous liver cell.
